The event is free though goodwill donations welcome.
Wear your most colorful and creative attire.
The scholarship began in 2017 and since has had 24 applicants and 8 awardees: Nate Stewart, Abby Schwab, Miranda Aalto, Amelia Zanin, Alice Van Haaften, Elee Sharp, Jessica Sharp, and Evanna Thao. Previous scholarship awardees will be sharing their personal creative journeys.
Local artists will be on hand playing music, demonstrating their art form, chalking the walk in front of the Carpe, and selling caricatures.
Silent and live auction items will include paintings, drawings, ceramics, jewelry and cards from local artists. In addition, as of today, art coffee table books and tickets to the Milwaukee Rep and Madison Symphony will also be on auction.
A detailed list of auction items will be emailed and on-line a week prior to the event.
